This is a six-week online training on the essential techniques and application of mindfulness. It has been adapted from our local on-site Level 1 training, and consists of weekly reading, guided audio practices, and supportive worksheets. A guiding teacher will be monitoring the training as well as responding to questions and adding relevant comments to enhance the experience of the group.
This course is designed to be done on your own schedule during the week. Typically your week's materials will be emailed to you by Monday evening. You will receive a mid-week check in from your guiding teacher on Wednesday and then a final reminder to read the week's materials and answer the questions on Friday. Your answers to the 3-5 weekly questions are due on Sunday evenings, which account for your attendance in the course. If you complete each week's questions, you will receive a certificate of completion from us.
Training begins on January 21, 2012 and ends March 3, 2012.
