Classroom Teachers Using Mindfulness in The Classroom Call
This is an hour long, personalized training for people who have completed the Mindful Schools Curriculum Training and have started using the curriculum. We will be addressing:
- Any problems coming up for you as a classroom teacher trying to implement mindfulness into your classroom
- How to create a mindful environment
- The difference between indirect teaching and direct teaching
- What to do about students who don't seem to be participating or are causing distractions
- How to have proper expectations of what mindfulness "should" look like in your classroom
This is a telecourse using Maestro technology and is NOT IN PERSON with a maximum of 10 participants. This will allow us to reach participants from all over the world whom are using our curriculum. You will need access to a telephone and we recommend having computer and internet access if possible though it is not necessarily. You will get directions on how to login and participate in the training before the start date.
